NEW PLYMOUTH SITTING. CIVIL CASES. A sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held at New Plymouth yesterday, Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., presiding. Judgment for plaintiffs by default for the amounts indicated was given in the following undefended civil eases: — Geo. Grey v. T. Milling, £7 18s lid (costs, £1 l?>s Cd); Moss and Son v Fred Inia, 18s costs only; Harriet Gibson v. Lance E. Lethbridge, Ils fid ( £1 8s); New Plymouth Gas Company, Ltd. v. William A. Clinton, £7 Is (£1 10s 6d); P. F. Burrows' Ltd. v. F. E. Lark, £l9 3s 8d (£3 9s); J. B. Dunn v. R. Burnett, 18s B<l (£2 14s); Hab lenstein Bros. Ltd. v. G. M. Holley, £3 6s Id (£2 6s fid); Frank Leslie Wheeler v. Rang! Runi, £5 (£1 15s 6d). On a. judgment summons, Sidney Sutton was ordered to pay H. Collier and Co. the sum of £39 Is fid forthwith, in default thirty days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as defendant pays £1 a mouth until the debt is paid. At the suit of Greenway Bros., Charlie Tonga was ordered to pay the sum of £7 12s 2d forthwith, in default seven days’ imprisonment. At the suit of D. R. Johnston, Michael O'Halloran junr. was ordered to pay the sum of £l6 Is, in default 16 days’ imprisonment. On a judgment summons Leslie Reilly was ordered to pay F, If.
