GYPSIES REJECTED.

RETURNED TO AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—-Press Association. Auckland,: Last Night. j The party, of nineteen gypsies, who arrived from Sydney by the Aorangi bn Monday, were returned to Australia today by the Marama, on instructions from the Customs Department. It is stated that the party was in New Zealand last year, and that as the result of trouble which arose then, the present action of the department wae decided upon. Nine of the gypsied had' unconditional permits to land in the Dominion, and could have done so, but they preferred to remain together.
