QUINNAT SALMON.
CAUGHT IN HUTT STREAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. i Wellington, May 6. Quinnat salmon have been taken in a Hutt Valley stream, and in the harbour last week a fisherman saw a school of these fish numbering hundreds leaping about off Ward Island, half-way from the entrance to the port.
