WESTPORT MAYOR RESIGNS.
PRESSURE OF BUSINESS. The Mayor of Westport, Mr. John Menzies, has tendered his resignation, owing to the pressure qf private business. Mr. C. N. Greenland, DeputyMayor, was appointed in liia stetd, with Mr. E. R. Fox as Deputy-Mayor.
