TOMBS AT LUXOR.
CLEOPATRA’S BURIAL PLACE. London, March 27. “Whjle I was at Luxor, I heard that Mr. Howard Carter had discovered a clue to other royal tombs, possibly that of Cleopatra,” said Mr. J. J. Rouse, of Sydney, upon his return from an Egyptian tour. Mr. Rouse considers that the gold and marble decorations on Tutankhamen’s tomb transcend any description or picture published, and would repay a visit by any Australian.
