MINISTERS WHO WRITE.
PRESS ARTICLES TO CEASE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. London June 18. The question of the desirability of members of the Cabinet engaging in journalism was raised in the House of Commons, and the Premier (Mr. Stanley Baldwin) stated that he had discussed the matter fully with Lord Birkenhead (Secretary for India), who has readily fallen in with his desire to discontinue contributions after he had completed his contracts to supply historical articles to monthly magazines. The rule, therefore, may be" taken that hereafter Ministers during their period of office will observe the same practice.
