Received June 21, 11.50 p.m. London, June 20 At Hurlingham the first of three matches between the English and American armies for the international army pplo championship was played in the presence of their Majesties, the Duke and Duchess of York and Prince Henry. The Americans beat the British by 8 goals to 4.
