Notice is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of the powers invested in the Council by the Counties Act, 1920 and the Rating Act, 1908, it is the intention of the Clifton County Council, at its next meeting, to be held on FRIDAY, the 3rd day of July, 1925, to make and levy under section 120 ’Counties Act, 1920; section 48, Rating Act, 1908, and any other empowering Act, a General Rate of Two pence and one halfpenny (2Ad) in the £ ofi the Capital value of all rateable property within each of the Ridings of the County of Clifton, namely the Mokau, Uruti, Urenui, Tikorangi, Waihi and Ngatimaru Ridings, such General rate to be for the year ending 31st March, 1926, and to be payable in one instalment on the 16th day of August, 1925, at the Office of the Clifton County Council, Waitara, where the valuation rolls are open for inspection during, office hours. JN Pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred by ‘The Rating Act 1908,” ‘'The Counties Act 1920” and ‘The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act” and any other empowering Act, Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Council of the County of Inglewood, at a meeting to be held at the County Office, Inglewood, on TUESDAY, July 7, 1925, at the hour of 2 p.m., to strike and levy a general rate of threepence and seven-tenths of a penny (3 7-10ths penny) in the pound (£1) and a Hospital rate of one half-penny (Ad) in the pound (£1) on the Rateable/Value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the County of Inglewood and such rates to be payable in one sum on the Ist day of August, 1925, at the Office of the County Clerk, Inglewood, during the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., holidays excepted.
