HUMAN BONES FOUND.
PROBABLY OF PREHISTORIC ORIGIN. By Telegraph —Press Association. Auckland, La.jt Night. Human bones were found high up on the cliff face during excavations at Arapuni. They w r ere buried 100 feet deep and are those of a remarkably tall and muscular skeleton, though no skull bones were discovered. The * bones were right in the heat of rock centuries old It is believed that they are those of a member of a prehistoric race.
