BIG EARTHQUAKE.
DEATH ROLL TOTALS 1306. TOWN COMPLETELY WRECKED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.— Copyright. Melbourne, June 11. ‘Hie Australian council of the China Inland Mission has received word from Talifu of a devastating earthquake which completely wrecked that town. Thirteen hundred were killed and a large number rendered homeless. Fire broke out in many quarters and -all buildings were destroyed. The foreign community suffered no bodily injury and the members are returning to Yunnanfu.
