MAGISTRATE'S COURT. UNDEFENDED CIVIL CASES. (Front Our Own Reporter.) Hawera, March 4. The fortnightly civil sitting of the Magistrate’s Court commenced at Hawera this morning before Mr. J, S. Barton, S.M. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in each of the following undefended civil cases: —B. R. Long v. A. Langdon, £2 Ids (costs £2 Is fid); M. McNeill v. F. V. Sander-Nelson, £24 (£3 Ils fid); B. R. Long v. L. Coug'hlan, 15s (8s); same v. S. J. Briscoe, costs only, £1 41s -6d; William .Willetts, v. P. F. Farnworth, £55 las (£4 IDs fid); W. J. Bright v. S. Merwood, £5 14s 6d (£2 Is); J. W. Yearbury v. C. Wilcox, 10s 6d (£1 10s fid); Kaupoko-, nui Dairy Co., Ltd., v. L. W. Garrett, £55 16s Id (£4 Ils 6d); J. Urlich v. Ha we Patari, £4 5e (£1 Tas 6d); Jos. Sherman v. R. C. S. Gibson, £79 13s (£5 0s -6d); Kaupokonui Dairy Co., Ltd., v. J. W. Heal, £9 Is fid ( £1 12s fid); H. R. Kemp v. W. Beaufort, £23 16s lOd (£4 Is fid); same v. F. Taunton, £ll 14s (£2 14s). In judgment summons cases orders for payment were made as follows; — W. J. Bright v. P. C. Waller, £fi Is (costs £1 ,1s), forthwith, in default eight days’ imprisonment; C. E. Brooke v. John Tuki, £4 4s 3d forthwith, in default five days’ imprisonment;- Bennett and Sutton v. Joe Epai, £23 4s 6d ( £1 Ils fid) forthwith, in default 25 days’ imprisonment; Bennett and Sutton v. Charles Hopkinson, £2 Ils 9d forthwith, in default three days’ imprisonment. In the judgment summons case, Harry Caplen v. Andrew Hansen and Neil Anton Haneen, the plaintiff’s solicitor stated that N. A. Hansen had paid £lO 5s 3d off the claim of £2O 10s 6d. An order was made against each debtor to pay £lO 5s 3d, with costs £1 Ils fid forthwith, in default 12 days’ imprisonment.
