MAGISTRATE'S COURT. UNDEFENDED CIVIL CASES. (Front Our Own Reporter.) Hawera, March 4. The fortnightly civil sitting of the Magistrate’s Court commenced at Hawera this morning before Mr. J, S. Waller, £fi Is (costs £1 ,1s), forthwith, in default eight days’ imprisonment; C. E. Brooke v. John Tuki, £4 4s 3d forthwith, in default five days’ imprisonment;- Bennett and Sutton v. Joe Epai, £23 4s 6d ( £1 Ils fid) forthwith, in default 25 days’ imprisonment; Bennett and Sutton v. Charles Hopkinson, £2 Ils 9d forthwith, in default three days’ imprisonment. In the judgment summons case, Harry Caplen v. Andrew Hansen and Neil Anton Haneen, the plaintiff’s solicitor stated that N. A. Hansen had paid £lO 5s 3d off the claim of £2O 10s 6d. An order was made against each debtor to pay £lO 5s 3d, with costs £1 Ils fid forthwith, in default 12 days’ imprisonment.
