COLLISION WITH TRAM.
DRUNK MOTORIST CONVICTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wanganui, Dec. 22. At the court to-day a local farmer named Myverne George Moore was charged with being drunk when driving a motor car. The case was a sequel to the collision which took place between defendant’s car and a tram car in Victoria Avenue on Thursday night. The magistrate convicted defendant, placed him on probation for three years, and prohibited him from driving a car during that period.
