ALIEN IMMIGRANTS.
ATTITUDE OF BRITAIN. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Dec. 21. As the outcome of the recent Conservative agitation regarding the entry of aliens into Britain, which was the subject of a debate in the House of Commons last week, the Home Secretary has notified immigration officers that, while administering the provisions of the aliens order tactfully and fairly, they at the same time must exercise all possible strictness, and in every case remember that when any doubt arises the benefit should be given to this country rather than the alien.
