ENGLISH SCHOOLBOYS ON FARMS. ANOTHER DRAFT NEXT YEAR. All the -boys in the last quota of public schoolboy immigrants who arrived in Taranaki from England have now been found situations on farms. At a meeting of the immigration committee of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce last night it was reported that the boys were settling down well, and fevr transfers had taken place. A considerable number of applications Were received from farmers for boys for next season. Although applications nominally closed on November 29, the matter has not been finally disposed of, and it was resolved to hold it over until after the holidays© Names of the applicants will be circulated among members of the committee, and the committee will still be prepared to receive applications provided they are forwarded immediately.
