STATE PREMIER RESIGNING. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Brisbane, Dec. 19. Speaking at Townsville, the Premier (Mr. E. G. Theodore) announced that he would retire from the Premiership of the State about the beginning of February.
It has been freely reported that Mr. Theodore intended resigning from- the Premiership of Queensland in order to enter Federal politics. It was also hinted that he would probably be chosen a«j leader of the Labour Party.
