LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALES. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Dec. 20, 5.5 p.m London, Dee. 19. At the sheepskin sales 235'5 bales were offered, most of which were sold. Merinos sold at from par to 5 per cent, above November prices. Crossbred advanced 5 to 10 per cent, and others fully 10 per cent.

Cheese market firm, 95 s to 965.” ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET. HIG-HBR PRICES FOR FAT LAMBS AMD CATTLE. Christchurch, Dec. 17. There were large entries at Addington today in practically all sections of stock. Fat lamb's and fat- cattle showed a decided firming, but other classes were unaltered in value. Store Sheep.—A fair-sized yarding with a brisk demand, particularly for lambs. Good rape lambs made 30s to 32s sd, small: er lambs 27s 3d to 28s 6d. Sound and failing-mouthed woolly ewes and lambs 27s *.»d, inferior aged shorn ewes and lambs 22s Id to 24s 4d, twotoothed crossbred ewes 32s 9d to 375. Forward two-toothed -wethers 34s 3d, good two-toothed 'halfibred wethers 31s to 325, small and inferior two-toothed halfbred wethers 26s to 275, four and six-toothed crossbred wethers to 33s lOd, four and six-toothed halfbred wethers 30s Id to 34s 6d, lower conditioned four, six, and eight-toothed halfbred wethers 28s 2d to 28s 9d.

Fat Lambs.—A heavy pre-haliday yarding of over 5000 head and an advance in values a good proportion selling at fully 13%d per lb for export. Butchers paid to near 14d for light lambs. Extra prime lambs 47s to 495, a special line to 51s, prime 43s to 46s 6d, medium lambs 39s Gd to 42s 6d, light lambs 33s to 395.

Fat Sheep.—An exceptionally heavy entry of over 13 races, 50 per cent, more than the recent average. The market was irregular, but generally was up to last week’s rates. Exporters operated to a limited extent. Extra prime wethers made 52s Id, prime 45s to 435, medium 40s to 445, light 34s 6d to 39s 6d, rough 91s 6d to 345. Extra prime ewes to 46s fid, prime 40s to 42s 6d, medium 34s 6d to 39s light a nd inferior 31s to 345.
