The motor used is of a simple nature and does not require more than an occasional oiling to keep it in proper running order, and when comparing the cost of the running of an electric motor with - an engine driven by kerosene or benzine, remember the following six-points;—■. 1. The Electric Motor is easy to start. 2. It requires no repairs if properly installed and handled. 3. There is no smell to taint the milk. 4. It is cheaper to insial. ' 5. Its running costs are comparatively low. 6. The speed of the motor is constant and the vacuum is maintained at a steady figure. In consequence, the cows are better treated and belt and other running repairs lessis also ideal for sawing wood, pumping water or cutting chaff or other purposes. FOR WATER HEATING. The Farmers’ Electric Water Heater where installed hag proved itself more efficient, economical and reliable than any other method of water heating on the market.
