THE WRIGHT CASE.
APPEAL AGAINST DECISION. By Telegraph—Pre.ns Association. Ashburton, Dec. 16. It is reported that an appeal on certain poin :s against the Judge’s decision in the Supreme Court action, Florence J. M. Morgan and othere v. the trustees of the estate of the late E. G. Wright, lias been lodged by plaintiffs The hearing will be commenced probably on March 16.
The case is one in which breaches of trust was alleged. The defendants were Douglas George Wright (Winslow), Harriet Myra Wright (Ashburton), widow, and the Hon. W. Nosworthy, Mesopotamia station, farmer. Mr. Justice Reed in his judgment made an order for securities regarding the prices paid for the stock by D. G. Wright, also the interest paid by him to the trust estate. Regarding the application to remove the trustees, the Judge said neither Mrs. Wright nor Mr. Noswortby were in a position to look after the ©state properly, but nothing conveyed to his mind the faintest impression of mala fides or fraud on their part. Nevertheless they should apply to be removed from the trusteeship and have the estate transferred to the Public Trustee.
