I SHEAF MOUNT FROM 'FRISCO. ’ The Union Company have received advice that the Sheaf Mount sailed from San Francisco at 2 p.m. last Saturday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and

New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on January 9 and New Plymouth late in January or early in February. The Sheaf Mount is bringing 1585 tons of cargo to New Plymouth, including 1400 tons of gasoline. PHYSA EARLY THIS MORNING. The Physa sailed from Wellington at 7.45 a.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, and is expected to arrive here early this morning. She will have to anchor until the departure of the Waikawa or the Kumara, neither of which is expected to sail before to-morrow. She has a quantity of case oil for discharge. KAIRANGA’S CARGO. The Kalranga, which left Newcastle on Tuesday for New Plymouth direct, has 1500 tons of coal and a quantity of timber for this part. She should arrive about Monday or Tuesday. LITTLE WORK AT THE PORT. Heavy and continuous rain throughout yesterday made work practically impassible at the port, and the steamers Kumara and Waikawa were both delayed a day in their discharge. It is hoped to despatch them both, to-morrow. RARAWA S HOLIDAY TIME-TABLE. With passengers and general cargo, the Rarawa is due from Onehunga early to-morrow morning. She leaves for Onehunga at 7.40 to-morrow evening, and leaving the northern port at 5.30 on Sunday night, is due here again on Monday morning. Her subsequent movements during Christmas and the following week are as follows: Leaves New Plymouth on Monday (Dec. 22), Wednesday (Dec. 24), Monday (Dec. 29), Wednesday (Dec. 31) and Saturday (Jan. 3) at 7.40 p.m. for Onehunga. Leaves Onehunga on Tuesday (Dec. 23 at 4 p.m.), Sunday (Dec. 28 at 6 p.m.), Tuesday (Dec. 30 at 4 p.m.) and Friday (Jan. 2 at 5.30 p.m.), for New Plymouth
