FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Dec. 77. The Governor-General and Lady FergUsson leave here on December 29 on their first visit to Auckland. They will stay then? about a week. The date of their first visit to the South Island has not yet been fixed. Their Excellencies have received hundreds of telegrams of welcome from all parts of the Dominion. This morning a representative deputation of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand presented a loyal address. The General Assembly wa» represented by the Moderator, the Rev. G. Miller, of Dunedin, the Rev. J. H. McKenzie, and the Rev W. Comrie. The Wellington Presbytery was also represented by the clergy ftad laymen.*
