lulu 4.64. «. KUMARA IN PORT. The Kumara (6063 tons) arrived in the roadstead from Wellington earl.v yesterday morning and was berthed at the Moturoa wharf at 9 o'clock by the harbourmaster (Capt. W. Waller). The Kumara will load 12,000 boxes of butter, 5000 crates of cheese, 5000 freight carcases of frozen meat from Waitara, ana 2500 carcases from Pa-tea. It is hoped to dispatch her on Thursday for Wanganui, Tokomaru Bay, Napier and Wellington, and she is scheduled to sail finally from ’the last-men-tioned port about December 31 for London, via Monte Video and Tencriffe. With a cargd* of merchandise the vessel sailed from Liverpool on September 20, and bunkered at Capetown en route to Adelaide, where she arrived, on November 5. Part cargo was unloaded at Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle. At the last-mentioned port the Kumara filled her bunkers and sailed from there for Auckland and Wellington, where she discharged her in.ward cargo. Captain J. Johnson la in command, and has

The Kairanga, with a cargo of coal and Umber from Newcastle, is expected at New Plymouth about Monday nexit. She was to sail from the Australian port yesterday direct for New Plymouth, and after discharging here proceeds to Wellington. The Kairanga was. recently’ purchased in England by the Union Company, and this will be her first visit >o New Zealand under the Union Company's flag. OPUA FROM GREYMOUTH. The Opua arrived from Greymouth at six O’clock yesterday morning with a cargo ct 75,000 feet of timber. She was expected to complete discharge late last night and .to sail for Wanganui. From Wanganui she proceeds to Tarakdhe, and is due here again next Friday with cement from that port. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. With passengers and general cargo, the Rarawa is due from Onehunga early this morning. She sails for Onehunga at 7.40 this evening, and is due back on Friday morning. CHRISTMAS INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE.
