GOLF.
NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. A general meeting of the New Plymouth Golf dub was held last night to consider the proposal of the committee to farm the Waiwakaiho links. Mr. S. F. Burgess presided over a good attendance of members, and the proposition and the club’s general financial position wer£ fully explained. After considerable discussion the proposal was finally adopted, Mr. E. Hine being appointed supervisor.
