Delayed in Wellington by the rain, the Shaw, Savi'H and Albion steamer Kumara left Wellington at 6.40 a.m. yesterday to load at New Plymouth. She should arrive here early this morning and will pro'bably berth at about 8 or 8.30 a.m. OPUA TO-DAY. The Opua, which left jGreyinouth at 9.30 a.m. yesterday' is expected here early this morning. She will berth at about 6a m. OPIHI ON FRIDAY. The U.S.S. Company advise that the Opihi is due at Wellington on Wednesday, Nelson on Thursday and New Plymouth on Friday. After working this port the vessel goes south to Westport and Greymouth and eventually' returns to Dunedin, where she reloads for New Plymouth and the usual ports en route. WAIKAM'A COMPLETING.

It is expected that work on the Waikawa w'l.l be coni'pleted in time to enable the vessel to sail for Newcastle on Wednesday night.
