MOTOR CYCLE CLUB.
RUN TO MIMI BEACH. Between eighteen and twenty members of the New Plymouth Motor Cycle Club, together with their lady friends, held a club run to the Mimi Beach during the' week-end. The weather was splendid, and except for a section of the Maiji North Road between Waitara and Urenui, which was a little bumpy, all the roaqs were in excellent ofder. A picnic 'was held on the beach and an enjoyable ; time wafe spent. No tests were held. Some of i.tlje riders took their machines on to the beach. They experienced no difficulty} in going down, but they found it was no easy task to negotiate the incline on the return trip. The club may arrange a tour at Christmas or New Year but •so far no definite arrangements have becd made in this direction.
