CHEMIST FOUND DEAD.
SECRET FORMULA STOLEN. Los Angele*. Nov. £.». -Fred Ferrer, a French chemist, told his wife last night that certain rivals were ready to rob him of a secret formula which he carried. In response to [a tekpacne call, Ferrer left for a downtown ligwl. I This morning Ferrer was found dead Jn a'suburban cottage. His own undisicharged revolver was lying by his side land a lucky rabbit’s foot was found in [one of his pockets. Neither money, watch nor secret formula was found in his clothing.
