AVIATOR’S DIFFICULTY.
FLYING OVER RAOECOUiRSE Calcutta, Nov. 17. The Dutch aviators who are engaged ona flight around the world, flying an erratic course toward Siam, left Akyab yesterday, with the intention of going to Bangkok in one flight, but they unexpectedly appeared over the Rangoon racecourse. This is the only landing-place in Rangoon, but races were in prowess, and thousands of racegoers were thrilled by the .sight of the aeroplane flying so low that it nearly struck the. roof of the club premi se«. Seeing that they were unable to land safely, the airmen made off toward ‘Bangkok. They afterwards effected a safe landing at Kamfoe, in the Rangoon area. Thej- ran short of petrol and intended to land at the racecourse to secure supplies. The aviators are all well. They started for Bangkok this morning, and later passed over Motilmein. They were flying low, but did not stop.
