FLOODS IN PETROGRAD.
TWENTY LIVES LOST. DAMAGE TO THE CITY. Received Sept. 28, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 26. As a result of the floods in Petrograd twenty persons were killed and many more severely injured. Normal life has been resumed after three-quarters of the city had been submerged for thirty-one hours. The damage is estimated at £1,000,000.
