ANOTHER ROYAL VISIT.
DUKE AND DUCHESS OF YORK VISIT AFRICA. The Daily Telegraph last month received the following official statement: —“The Duke anti Duohes® o.f York are -to visit East Africa this winter. Their Royal Highnesses will probably leave England in November for a tour in Kenya Colony and Uganda. The daites of departure and return are not yet settled.” It is understood! that, although no definite dates have been fixed, the Royal ] tour will last from some time in Novem- | her to about the end of February. The Duke and Duchess of York will visit, various parts of the colonies in question, and the Duke's engagements are likely to include a good! deal of big game hunting. The visit will be a private one. It is some years since the Diif;e of York la««t had an opportunity of visiting a British Colony. In 1013, as a cadet on board His Majesty’s ship Cumberland, he visited, among other places, Canada, the West Indies, and Bermuda. Since the war (in whidh he was present at the Battle of Jutland) His Royal Highness I 1 ha® busily interested himself in industrial welfare, to which dvork the Duchess has also devoted herself wholeheartedly.
