The above cows are a very choice lot and are undoubtedly one of the best herds offered in South Taranaki for some considerable time. No expense whatever was considered when establishing the herd, and it has been heavily culled each year, the replacements being made from the best dairies in the district. Fifty of them are 3rd and 4th cal vers, 48 have calved, and Mr. Wills is taking over 15001 b milk to the factory daily, the test for the last five terms being 4.3, 4.3, 4.4, 4.0, 3.9.
