"ADVANCE URENUI.”

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Advance Urenai —if you can—l ay, but how can we as the public have »ot yet seen the report and balanceiheet for the Urentri Hall. As a subcriber towards the hall, and also a upporter of the improvement commitee, I think the public ought to wake bp to the fact that the whole of the onrmittee, and especially the canvassr» who gave their cars and time free •d to travel miles around the district collect the money for the building of he supper room. I think we shoulu low pull together and see if we can't j ave a report and balance-sheet brought brward. I myself think that the noney collected by the c<7mmittee hould have made a bigger improvement toward* the hall, seeing that the abour was all voluntary. lam not liking from hearsay, as I have lived R this district for close on twenty ears, and have never seen a proper xlance-sheet of the hall or even of the iomain. Don’t you think it’s j.ist bout time the public woke up?—l am, fee. SECOND INTERESTED SUBSCRIBER. L'renui, Sept. 23.
