LIBEL ACTION.
£lOO DAMAGES SOUGHT. By Telegraph.—Press -Association. Wellington, Sept. 25. The case Howard Elliott v. The Net* Zealand Worker and John Glover, publisher. a claim for £lOO damages for alleged libel, was mentioned in the Magistrate’s -Court to-day. Defendant’s counsel said an application would 'bemade to have the case removed to the Supreme Court for hearing. As one of the counsel for the defence was in hospital an adjournment sine die was asked for. Counsel for plaintiff objwted to the prolonged adjournment, and added that the application to remove the case would 'be opposed. The Magistrate, Mr. Riddell, adjourned the case till October 16.
