WIDOW’S HOUSE RANSACKED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Sept. 20. When returning to her home in Riccarton after dark Mrs. Cotton, widow, diwuovered three men ransacking her house and one on guard outside. She pluckily endeavoured to lock the burglars in a room, but 'they broke away after one had punched her in the face. A suilall sum of money was stolen.
