WOOL SALES AT GISBORNE URGED. By Telegraph— Press Association. Gisborne, Sept. 20. A conference of pastoral interests decided to urge that wool sales be held in Gisborne in February, that farmers should guarantee as much as possible of their wool clips for the February soles, and that farmers should sign a resolution to sei] no wool at New Zealand sales, but to ship direct to England if the Gisborne sales are not held.
It was also decided that a strong letter be written to the Woolbrokers’ Association protesting against the way in which buyers had been allowed to overrule brokers. *
