The Paris correspondent of the Morainj Post says that aecordiiqr to reports from Tiflis the Reds entered the Georgian capital on September 10 after desperate fighting and they immediately executed six hundred of the leading citisens, imprisoning others. The Reds are now eoranuuided by General Budieny, a noted cavalry Wader, who is bringing aeroplanes, troops, armmired ears and a down armoured trains to Batum. The Georgians are retreating to the hills, where long guerilla warfare ia probable. Some are entering Aaerbaijan, where Mohammedan Tartare are successfully revolting. It ia reported there are large fir* on, the Baku oilfields, due to deliberate dynamiting by workmen discontented with tire low wages paid by the Reds, who are now attempting to exploit the oil wells as Government property.
