MORE BOYS FOR FLOCK HOUSE. SECOND QUOTA ARRIVES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North. Sept. 19. Twenty-nine boys, dependents or orphans of British seamen, arrived here yesterday from Wellington, en route for the Flock House Estate to learn farming in oonnecubn with the sheepowners’ acknowledgment of the debt to British seamen fund. This is the second quota to go into residence at Flock House. The first batch of 25 are now in the third mtonth of training. The lads, whose ages range from 14 to 17, came out in the charge of Mr. D Gtriland Gunn, assistant-secretary of th London Central Y.M.C.A. The bojrc are in good health. Speaking to a reporter Mr. Gunn was enthusiastic in his praise of the Doitrnion immigration department in England. The officials at Home had been vrry good. There was a wonderful human side about their dealings. Th* officials from the highest to the lowest were to be warmly praised.
