With passengers and 90 tons of general cargo, the Rarawa arrived from Onehunga early yesterday morning. She sailed for the northern port at 7.40 last night after the arrival of the mail train, and is due back on Tuesday morning. CASE OIL FROM NEW YORK. A Reardon-Smith steamer is advertised to load general cargo and ease oil at New York at an early date for Wellington, Now Plymouth and Australian ports. KAIKOURA'S FIRE DAMAGE. On account of the fire which occurred on the Kalkoura at the King’s wharf, Wellington, last Saturday, the vessel will be considerably delayed in her arrival at New Plymouth.
