INTER-STATE PROPOSALS. tfy Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Sepit. 18. 'Captain Patrick, late of Patrick Steamships Ltd., intends to embark on another shipping venture in inter-State trade if he gains the euppoxt of merchants. In the event of this service being instituted, Captain Patrick states that he intends to’ reduce t'he present freight rates 10 per cent. He contends that business at those rates woiuu be payable if the ships by any means were well loaded. The success of the venture dtpends on the result of a meeting of shippers this afternoon.
