B. Mac Ewen as member, representing commercial interests, on the Dairy Export Control Board. The personnel of the board is now complete. The Education Department has confirmed the appointment of Mr. G. G. Hancox, M.A., B.Sc., as director of the Palmerston North Technical School, in succession to Mr. F. D. Opie, who recently resigned owing to ill-health. Mr. Hancox, who is • a graduate of Otago University and Canterbury University College, has for the past two years been a member of the teaching staff of the Palmerston North Boys’ High School.
