BUTTER AND CHEESE. RISE IN VALUES. The High Commissioner, in his report to the Department of Agriculture, states that on account of the dockage strike prices have advanced and the butter market is firmer. The cheese market is firm, and spot supply short. Present quotations are - BUTTER. New Zealand. —Salted: July 7,154 s to 158 s per cwt. (Is 4%d to Is 5d per lb.) ; June 30, 146 s to 150 s . per cwt.
