LEAGUE OF NATIONS.

WILL GERMANY JOIN? A SUGGESTION MADE. AGREEMENT ON TERMS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received July 8, 11.5 -p.m. London. July 7. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily Chronicle says the Premier (Dr. Cuno) informed the political leaders that he has received, through a diplomatic channel, a suggestion that Germany should express her willingness to enter the League of Nations. The correspondent adds: I learn the initiative came from the British Government. Representatives of the coalition parties, from which Cabinet is formed, have expressed agreement, vided:(1) That Germany’s entry should not constitute an admission of the right of the League of Nations, to exercise control over the Rhineland. (2) That Germany should not be required to admit war guilt. (3) That Germany should be represented on the League Council as a member on an equal footing with other Powers.
