BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 14, 8.15 p.m. London, June 13. An off-day’s play at Troon was utilised for a driving competition. Wethered won the prize for the best aggregate distance in three drives, 809 yards one inch. A Bournemouth youth named Curtis made the best single drive, 278 yards thirty inches.
