WESTFIELD MARKET. Auckland, June 13. Prices at Westfield to-day were:— Beef—Very heavy yarding sold under spirited competition, last week’s prices being well sustained; extra choice ox £1 5s per 1001 b, choice and prime 21s to 245, ordinary and plain 19s to 21s; young cow and heifer beef 19s Gd to 225, plain and ordinary 14s to 1 Sheep.—Fair yarding sold readily and prices firm at. late rates; extra heavy wethers to 37s 6d: prime wethers 33s to 355, lighter 29s to 31s 6d: best ewes 30s to 325, good ewes 25s 6d to 295, unfinished 16s to 24s 3d. Calves.—Small yarding again met a very lavish sale and prices were higher; heavy vealers £2 17s to £4 2s, good vealers £2 10s to £2 15s, medium vealers £1 17s to £2 7s, unfinished 20s to 255, fresh dropped 6s to 12s - . Pig B- —Average yarding and prices slightly higher than last week; heavy baconers £4 5s to £4 15s, medium baconers £3 18s to £4 4s; heavy porkers £3 to £3 15s, lighter £2 5s to £2 15s.
