GISBORNE SENTENCES By Telegraph.—Press Assne'atton. Gisborne, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, Hongi Hapi, who had pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault, was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment. Frank Bailor, aged twenty, who appeared on several charges of theft, was sentenced to imprisonment for three months on each charge, the sentences to be concurrent, followed by re; formative treatment for three years. SENTENCE FOR FORGERY. Auckland, Last Night. At the Supreme Court, James Gothorp was sentenced to three years’ reformatory treatment on a charge of foregry and uttering. Mr. Justice Stringer said prisoner had broken his probation and was given another chance, but had committed a third offence.
