RATES 1923-1924. pUBLIC Notice is hereby given that the Council of the County of Taranaki intend, at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at 10.30 a.m. on MONDAY, the 2nd day of July, 1923, at the County Chambers, Robe Street, New Plymouth, to make and levy under Sections 120-121 “Counties Act 1920,” Section 48 “Rating Act 1908,” Section 9 “Rating Amendment Act- 1913,” and Sec- I tion 41 Sub-section 9 “Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act 1909,” Rates within each of the Ridings of the County of Taranaki as particularised hereunder:— MANGOREI RIDING: A General Rate of four and five-eighths pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. WAITARA RIDING: A General Rate of four and three-eighths pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. OMATA RIDING: A General Rate of four and three-eighths pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. OKATO RIDING: A General Rate pf three and five-eighths pence in the pound and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound. Such rates to be calculated on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property within the County of Taranaki and to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1923, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1924, and to be payable in one instalment at the Office of the Taranaki County Council, Robe Street, New Plymouth, on the sth day of July, 1923.
