WINE FOR THE CREW.
PROBLEM ON FRENCH SHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received June 12, 9.15 p.m. Washington, June 11. Following an inquiry by the French Embassy whether, under the. ship’s liquor regulations, a crew’s wine rations could be served from a ship’s sea stores or medical stores, the State Department announces this is impossible; only the ship’s physician could prescribe from the medicinal stores in the event of illness.
