DROWNING ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier. Last Night. While Alexander Leslie Morrison, aged 33, and a Maori named Manuku Tera, were out on Tingoio Lake in a small boat on Sunday, preparing for the shooting season, the craft capsized and the former was drowned. The Maori went ashore and returned to the spot with help and brought out the deceased, who then appeared to be living, but ho was dead when a doctor arrived.. At an inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned.
