MISSION IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, April 30. The Irish envoys addressed meetings on Sunday, stating that Mr. Oakes (acting Premier) had given them a hint to stop, but they required more than a hint before they stopped. Father O’Flannagan scouts the cabled report of a Republican peace move and suggests that the message was cooked en route. Mr. Bavin, referring to the envoys taking a collection sa : d the Government would carry out the proclamation to the letter.
