PLEA FOR ENGLISH HOSPITALS.
VALUE OF SYMPATHY. Mr. Lloyd George, speaking at Manchester in support of the effort to liquidate the debt on the loeal hospital, said that if the voluntary hospital broke down the coat of hospitals would be increased threefold. Eminent doctors would not give their services without fee and the country would lose what money could not buy—human sympathy.
