WAITUI SPORTS. The W’aitui Sports were held on. Thursday in very squally but dry weather. The committee deserve great credit for the sportsmanlike manner in which they carried out the day’s programme under adverse circumstances. There was a fair attendance, and all the events were well filled. A bevy of local ladies provided liberal refreshments. Mr. F. Scott’s lorry brought a party of Inglewood enthusiasts.
