SEIZURE OF OPIUM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The police yesterday seized a quantity of opium in Grey Street. No arrests have yet been made. TRADER IN OPIUM. Auckland, April 27. Ah Tonk, described by the police as an opium-trader, was fined £5O for being in possession of opium suitable for smoking. On his premises in Grey Street, a plant was found which supported the allegations. BURGLARY' AT GISBORNE. Gisborne, April 27. Attempts made by burglars to enter three warehouses last night failed In two instances the bolts and locks resisted, but in the third entry was effected and goods valued at £25 were stolen.
